 Bottle Birdfeeder

This is a feeder to keep the birds around your house well fed and healthy!  This is also a good way to attract more birds to your house.  If you desire a certain type of bird to visit your house just look for the bird seed that is labeled for that type of bird.

Key Benefits

  • Items you will need:
  • 1. A plastic drink bottle (2 liter for bigger birds).

  • 2. Birdfeed

  • 3. Black "Sharpie"  marker

  • 4. Box Cutter (Please have an adult accompany you with this!)

  • 5. Some yarn

  • Step 1:  (After taking the label of your bottle, and washing it out) Draw a circle on the bottle with the sharpie marker (see picture).

  • Step 2:  Have an adult help you, and use the box cutter to cut along the circle you made with the Sharpie.

  • Step 3:  Put the birdseed in the bottom of the bottle.

  • Step 4:  Tie the yarn around the top, and then take it outside.  Now Your birdfeeder bottle is complete! You can now hang it on a tree of your choice, or on a hook on your porch, or outside above your window (with your parents permission).
